Green Parrot Solutions ("we", "us", "our") operates Green Parrot CRM ("the Service"), a customer relationship management platform used by our client organizations to manage leads and communicate with their customers, including via WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with the Service.

1. Information We Collect

When a client organization uses Green Parrot CRM, we collect and store information they enter about their own leads and customers, including but not limited to: name, phone number, email address, lead source, notes, and follow-up dates. We also collect account information for organization owners and salespeople, such as email address and role.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and operate the CRM dashboard for each client organization
• Send automated WhatsApp Business notifications on behalf of a client organization to their own team members (owners and salespeople), such as reminders to follow up with a lead
• Maintain activity logs of changes made within the CRM (e.g. lead status or assignment changes)
• Improve and maintain the security of the Service

3. WhatsApp Business API Usage

Green Parrot CRM integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta) to send pre-approved template notifications, such as lead follow-up reminders, to authorized users within a client organization. We do not use WhatsApp messaging to contact end customers directly without the client organization's own authorization and control. Message content is limited to what is necessary for the organization's internal lead-management workflow.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider, with access controls (Row Level Security) ensuring that each client organization can only access their own data. We do not sell or share client or lead data with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain lead and account data for as long as a client organization maintains an active subscription with us, or as required to comply with legal obligations. Clients may request deletion of their organization's data by contacting us.

Client organizations and their end customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us using the details below.
